The CLV series Voltage-Controlled Oscillators (VCO) are uniquely based on a patented high-Q distributed resonator design offering low phase noise and linear tuning over a wide range of frequency bands (400 MHz to 4 GHz). The major advantages of the CLV series are higher immunity to microphonic effects and reduced phase hits over an extended operating temperature range (-40 to 85°C). This product line is ideally suited for complex modulation applications. The lower voltage operation capability, under reduced output power, make them perfect for handsets with extended battery life. Also, the low profile shields make them suitable for applications with space constraints.

Z-COMM's Coaxial Resonator Based Oscillators (CRO) are now available from 400 MHz to 4 GHz with the best phase noise performance designed to meet the requirements of carrier generators in high data rate applications. They are available from very narrow to moderate bandwidths (15%) and offer incomparable performance over an extended operating temperature range (-40 to 85°C). They exhibit excellent tuning linearity and superior harmonic suppression, making them the ideal choice for demanding system requirements.

The SLV Series Voltage-Controlled Oscillators provide exceptionally low phase noise performance with a higher degree of immunity to microphonic effects and reduced phase hits due to their unique design. They are ideally suited for narrow band applications. They are now available from 800 MHz to 1.5 GHz. The additional features include very low load pulling and pushing, excellent tuning linearity, harmonic suppression and frequency stability over an extended temperature range (-40 to 85°C). If performance is the top criteria, SLVs are the best choice.

The SMV Series VCO modules are a natural evolution from the MINI package.
The SMV Series VCO's
range from 60 MHz to 6 GHz. Residing in the 0.3" x 0.3" SUB-L package, the SMV series of VCO modules do not
sacrifice performance for size. Our extensive product line utilizes 0201 case
sized components to make the most out of a small area. This small size in-turn
reduces the space required on your PCB. If space is of paramount concern, then the SMV package is the best solution for your wireless
application.
