Voltage Controlled Oscillator: High Performance V200ME07-LF Features Excellent Phase Noise for Broadband Transmission

Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new VCO model V200ME07-LF. The V200ME07-LF operates over the frequency range of 173 to 192MHz while covering the band within a tuning range of 0.5 to 4.5V. This unmatched VCO features a spectrally clean signal of -120dBc/Hz @ 10kHz offset while operating off a 5Vdc supply and drawing a mere 17mA of current.
The RoHS compliant V200ME07-LF is designed to deliver +5dBm of output power into a 50Ω load and covers the frequency band with an average tuning gain of 13MHz/V. This low noise VCO operates over the industrial temperature range of -55 to 85ºC and features a typical second harmonic suppression of -20dBc. The V200ME07-LF comes in Z-Comm’s standard MINI-16 package measuring 0.5 in. x 0.5 in. x 0.22 in. and it is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements making it ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
