CRO3700K-LF Provides Low Noise Solution for Satellite Communications

Z-Communications, Inc. is pleased to announce a new high performance, RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage Controlled Oscillator) model CRO3700K-LF. The CRO3700K-LF covers the frequency range of 3600 to 3800 MHz within a tuning voltage range of 0.5 to 18 Vdc. This innovative VCO features a spectrally clean signal of -106 dBc/Hz @ 10 kHz offset while covering the band with a typical tuning sensitivity of 18 MHz/V.
The low cost CRO3700K-LF is designed to deliver 3±3 dBm of output power into a 50 ohm load while operating over the extended commercial temperature range of -40 to 85ºC. This unmatched VCO operates off an 8 Vdc supply while drawing typically 30 mA of current and features a typical second harmonic suppression of -20 dBc. The CRO3700K-LF comes in Z-COMM’s standard MINI-16-SM package measuring 0.5 in. x 0.5 in. x 0.22 in. and it is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements making it ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
