Fixed Frequency Synthesizer: SFS11600H-LF Features Ultra-Low Phase Noise Performance

Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant Fixed Frequency Synthesizer model SFS11600H-LF. The high performance SFS11600H-LF is designed to generate an output signal at 11.6 GHz while being fixed to an external 100 MHz reference oscillator. This X-Band PLL is further heightened by delivering exceptional phase noise performance of -98 dBc/Hz at 1 kHz and -103 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset.
The SFS11600H-LF is designed to deliver a nominal output power of 0 dBm into a 50Ω load and operates with a VCO voltage supply of 5 Vdc while drawing 85 mA (typical) and a phase locked loop voltage of 3.3 Vdc while drawing 40 mA (typical). This low noise Fixed Frequency Synthesizer features harmonic suppression of -30 dBc and spurious suppression of -65 dBc. It is housed in Z-COMM’s standard SFS-L1 package measuring 1.0 in. x 1.0 in. x 0.22 in. The SFS11600H-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and is available in tape and reel packaging.
The SFS11600H-LF is an excellent choice for test instrumentation, radar equipment and various other applications, and is guaranteed over the industrial temperature range of -40 to 85°C.
