USSP1570-LF Features Low Power Consumption in a Ultra-Small Package

Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage Controlled Oscillator) model USSP1570-LF. The USSP1570-LF operates from 1540 to 1600 MHz within the narrow tuning voltage range of 0.5 to 2.5 Vdc. This unmatched VCO features excellent phase noise of -90 dBc/Hz @ 10 kHz offset while operating off a 2.7 Vdc supply and drawing a mere 7 mA of current.
The USSP1570-LF provides the end user an output power of -1±3 dBm into a 50 ohm load while operating over the commercial temperature range of 0 to 70°C. This low powered VCO suppresses the second harmonic to better than -25 dBc and covers the frequency range with a tuning linearity of better than 1.1:1. The USSP1570-LF comes in Z-COMM’s standard USSP package measuring only 0.2 in. x 0.2 in. x 0.04 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements making it ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
